My name is Lisa Morauer Clark and I was born in 1956 in Maryland.   As
you can see my equestrian career started quite early in life.  My parents
had a small horse farm in rural MD and my mom will tell you that I lived
in  the barn.

I started showing ponies at six and at ten I was fox hunting along side
my father.  I broke my first  horse at 12 and used “Natural
Horsemanship” out of  necessity.  Growing up next to a polo field allowed
a young girl the opportunity to make spending money by galloping and hot
walking polo ponies.

I moved to Kansas and 1989 and got married in 1990.  In 1998 we purchase my husband’s family’s homestead place and
shortly there after I got a grade mare.  Then in 2001 we adopted 3 wild mustangs and a love affair was started.  With
the mustangs I found it was a necessity to learn a better way to train and this lead me more deeply into studying
Natural Horsemanship.  I found Dennis on RFD-TV and was impressed with his knowledge of Classical Horsemanship.  I
purchased the home study courses and have been working with my mustangs (we now have adopted 11) ever since.

After two and half years pre-vet at the University of MD.
I spent the next year as a polo groom in Florida and PA.
Returning to Maryland I began 3-day eventing reaching
Preliminary level before life got in the way.

The next fifteen years my life was in and out of horses.  I
obtained a degree in Civil Engineering.  I also worked at
several equestrian show facilities on the east coast, worked
for
EQUUS Magizine, as well as working in the construction
field
and the story continues....
